SingaporeSingapore ISP

KVM VPS in Singapore. Route: Singapore NTT; direct route for China Mobile. IP type (ISP): the addresses are announced through NTT, and some IP databases identify them as ISP. The routes shown are what we currently measure, for reference only, and may change. No bandwidth is contracted directly with Chinese carriers; latency and packet loss towards mainland China depend on the interconnection between carriers. The IP type and the routing towards mainland China are not guaranteed; we do our best. IP geolocation corrections are still in progress, and some IP databases may show a location other than Singapore.

02 / FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Contact support
Where are the servers located?

vps.taxi servers are located in Los Angeles, USA (LA Premium), with routes optimized for mainland Chinese carriers; in Tokyo, Japan (Tokyo SoftBank), where all traffic to mainland China is routed via SoftBank, and in Singapore (Singapore ISP), via Singapore NTT with a direct route for China Mobile. Tokyo and Singapore have no bandwidth contracted directly with Chinese carriers; latency and packet loss towards mainland China depend on the interconnection between carriers. The IP type (ISP) of Singapore addresses and the routing towards mainland China are not guaranteed; some IP databases identify the addresses as ISP, and IP geolocation corrections are still in progress, so some IP databases may show a location other than Singapore.

Can I test the network first?

The vps.taxi Looking Glass lets you run ping, mtr and traceroute from Los Angeles or Tokyo to your IP address.

How long does setup take?

vps.taxi usually provisions your VPS automatically within a few minutes of payment and emails the login details once it is ready.

Can I get a refund?

vps.taxi offers a 7-day money-back guarantee on your first order in each product line, subject to the Refund and Billing Policy. Refunds can go to your account credit in full, or back to your payment method with the payment processing fee (at most 5%) taken off.

What payment methods are available?

vps.taxi accepts Alipay, WeChat Pay, AlipayHK, cards (Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay), USDT (TRC20) and TRX. PayPal is not available. The payment methods available for your order are shown at checkout.

When does the traffic allowance reset?

The traffic allowance for your vps.taxi VPS resets once a month, also on annual plans.

What happens when traffic runs out?

By default, vps.taxi limits your VPS port at no extra charge: to 1 Mbps in Los Angeles and to 10 Mbps in Tokyo and Singapore. Optional auto purchase adds 1 TB each time, deducted from your account credit: $10 per TB in Los Angeles, $3 per TB in Tokyo and Singapore. If credit is insufficient or the purchase limit you set is reached, the port is limited instead, without creating a debt. Your plan's port speed is restored automatically when the monthly allowance resets.

Which operating systems are available?

vps.taxi offers Ubuntu 26.04, Ubuntu 24.04, Ubuntu 22.04, Debian 13, Debian 12, AlmaLinux 9 and Rocky Linux 9.

What virtualization does vps.taxi use?

vps.taxi uses KVM virtualization. Each VPS includes full root access, and you can reinstall the operating system from the client area.

Does vps.taxi offer IPv6?

vps.taxi does not currently offer IPv6. Each VPS includes one IPv4 address.
