02 / ROUTES

Network and routes

The line is Singapore NTT, and towards China Mobile it connects directly. These are the routes we currently measure, for reference only; they may be adjusted to actual conditions.

No bandwidth is contracted directly with Chinese carriers; latency and packet loss towards mainland China depend on the interconnection between carriers. Towards China Telecom and China Unicom, results depend on how each carrier interconnects and can differ.

IP type (ISP)

The addresses are announced through NTT, and some IP databases identify them as ISP.

Try a real server

Your first order in each product line has a 7-day money-back guarantee (conditions apply, see the Refund and Billing Policy), so you can test a Singapore server from your own connection. How to test with mtr or WinMTR: Test routes with mtr.

Frequently asked questions

Contact support
How do China Telecom and China Unicom connect?

Towards China Mobile the route is direct. Towards China Telecom and China Unicom, results depend on how each carrier interconnects and can differ. Your first order in each product line has a 7-day money-back guarantee (conditions apply), so you can try a real server and test it with mtr or WinMTR.

What does IP type (ISP) mean?

The addresses are announced through NTT, and some IP databases identify them as ISP. Each IP database decides its own labels.

How does the yearly offer work?

Yearly billing has a limited-time offer of 20% off while it lasts, for example SG 512M $24 per year instead of $30. It is applied automatically and renews at the same price. Switching an existing monthly server to yearly on its page in the client area gets the offer too, while it lasts.

What happens when the traffic runs out?

By default the port is limited to 10 Mbps at no extra charge until the allowance resets, then your plan's port speed comes back automatically. Optional auto purchase adds 1 TB each time for $3, paid from your account credit, and never creates a debt. Incoming and outgoing traffic count together; the allowance resets once a month on your server's own monthly cycle, also on yearly plans.

Is UDP supported?

Yes. UDP works in both directions on Singapore servers.

Can I change plans later?

Yes. The four Singapore plans can change among themselves in the client area (Plan section). An upgrade needs no reinstall and keeps your data: you pay the difference for the rest of the current period. A downgrade reinstalls the server and wipes its data; the difference goes to your account credit.

Can I get a refund?

Your first order in each product line has a 7-day money-back guarantee (conditions apply, see the Refund and Billing Policy). Refunds go to your account credit in full, or back to your payment method with the payment processing fee (at most 5%) taken off.
